Stressed about finals? Well here’s some tips on how to prepare for finals! First communication is key, try asking for help from others, especially your teacher but if you need a different way of explaining, always try to ask your friends if they are good at the subject or just understand what to do! Another thing you can do is try to go to the study halls that are usually in the library after school, if you want more information about it check in with our librarian Ms. Walker. Something you can do if you cannot go to the study halls or ask for help you could always study, search up the material online or find helpful videos online that can help you understand the subject you are having trouble with or want to know more about.

There are many ways to prepare for your finals like hiring a tutor or asking a friend to tutor you or making flashcards and testing yourself but something I recommended fully is just taking some of your time to review your work and do any extra credit or any late work you have just for the practice because it will help you a lot in the final. A few things you should prioritize the hardest subjects or just finals that are in the morning so you can know it in the back of your hand, you also wanna focus more on your work rather than your phones or video games or whatever distracts you from doing homework. If you work or do sports try checking flashcards while on your break at work or when you’re doing sports try to see if anyone is having the same final as you and check in with them to see what they are doing to see what you can work on. If there’s a final that is open notes then make sure you have everything. If your sport does have a study hall, take advantage of that since some sports don’t have that and can’t do their work after school and have to wait after they’re done with whatever sport they are doing to actually be able to study or do their work.
